Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

AMERICAN LOVE

Craig Leaf

Oh what fair freedom have I held today
sung my loins and joyous be
and being a man
this is must be what they call american
what a dream beyond .. my country tis of the
sweet land of puberty
to plow the fertile soil
till all my lands are spread
and beg for seeding
as hungry lips and lovely hips
Are bread for breading
what a steed what a mare
and soft as fair as light as legs
that dance within my youthful dreams
my hands on your breast be not only gifts but gifts pleasant wrappings
