Very Bad Poetry

Welcome to the last refuge for the world's worst poetry.

It's difficult to understand how, in this age of information, poems that merely miss the mark can be tossed into the cold world to fend for themselves, only to whither and be forgotten.

Please help us to help them to help us.

SESTINA

I open unto your night deliver
Let your floral patterns' pollenate, invade and impregnate me!
Oh fierce bouquet-briquettes, burlesque-brigade,
With your filigree of foliage
and carnage of ivory
I offer my body to your belvedere

Smoking in your evening's belvedere
inhaling each billowing breath you deliver
gazing up at that pearl of the evening, that sun of ivory
Ra once removed, in darkness delight me
as I tramps through sweet meadows ticked by your foliage
Imposing divisions all through your brigade

So sure of order is your brigade
the prearranged belvedere
of purples, red, reds bluing blow foliage
to deliver
blow you to me
Be that I, an imposition, a stain nigger spot in your ivory

"Cause it's a black tooth gave ivory
The blues", what's a majors without a minors or a sharp brigade
For? - enlisted to rap, tap, trap me
Each key in line so belvedere
So,sure to deliver
To kick up all that's fallen back into foliage

And here am I stamping all this foliage
dancing over the keys sootin' up the ivory
smudging my greasy fingers marks on each symbol to deliver
these bars of words the solders of the syntax brigade
and I'm the prisoner of the belvedere
but this is all you gave me

this is my hop scotch checker board, play me
once we jump over each other a bit to clear the verbial foliage
and verbiage cluttering up the belvedere
we'll let the elephants mend the ivory
they are like the rooks of the brigade
and kept behind the lines waiting on you to deliver

the final blow the death of me, the forest floors the desserts of ivory
slash and burn my foliage with your fierce briquettes-brigade
imbibed back into your adoring arms who's belvedere is all I'll deliver
